Terms of use

Fractalax Games · Last updated 2 November 2026 · Contact privacy@fractalax.games

These terms apply when you play Ant Universe, made by Fractalax Games. By playing you agree to them. They don't take away any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that can't be excluded.

Playing the game

We give you a personal, non-exclusive right to play the game for fun. Please don't copy, resell or reverse-engineer the game or its art, music and writing, which belong to Fractalax Games.

Fair play

Please don't cheat on leaderboards: no editing saves, automated play or attacks on our server. We may remove scores or players that look unfair, and we may change or close online features.

Virtual items

Royal Jelly, cards, cosmetics and other in-game items have no money value and can't be swapped for money. We may rebalance the game, which can change what items do.

Purchases

The shop currently runs in a test mode and takes no money. When real purchases open, players under 18 should ask a parent or guardian first, prices will be shown before you pay, and the game will never sell random paid items. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, including refunds for major faults, are not affected.

Field notes

The Codex shares real facts about ants and insects. We check them, but they may contain mistakes; please tell us if you spot one.

Your saves

Your colony is saved on your device. Clearing your browser's data can delete it, so use the transfer code or cloud save to keep a copy. We do our best to keep cloud saves safe but can't promise they will never be lost.

Availability and liability

We provide the game as it is and may update, pause or end it. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months (if any). Nothing here limits rights that can't be limited under Australian law.
